Hi, Can someone please reset my server certificate? I had to reset my pms on nvidia shield and now getting all of insecure connection issues. This was not happening before. My server is detected on the plex web app but will not connect to it due to not connecting securely. I was informed a reset of my server certificate will fix this issue.

I am also having the same issue on my nvidia shield. I opened a ticket earlier but has not been looked into. Getting all sorts of insecure connection error while trying to access the server and only way to connect is to access via my server url and ignore the insecure cert error. The Plex client on my Lg TV would not connect to the server due to this issue. I just need someone to reset my certificate
@flenoski i see two shield servers on your account. do you know which one it is? what does the local IP of your shield end with? the cert looks fine though from what i can tell.
@paulknight750 reset yours but nothing looked wrong with it. You may have to restart it.

It looks like your shield was removed from authorized devices or unclaimed.

Hi, I have the same problem since an update on my nvidia shield/plex media sever. My server is detected on the plex web app but will not connect to it due to not connecting securely. I was informed a reset of my server certificate will fix this issue.

@thomas_8309 @sam_r15 your cert looks fine. Can you connect locally via https://ShieldLocalIP:32400/web where ShieldLocalIP is the actual localIP . have you rebooted routers and such?

All hardware reset, my browser won’t connect via IP as you outline as the connection isn’t secure.
Any other ideas?
@sam_r15 previously when i looked it said your remote access was not enabled . Now it says it is enabled and was last seen about an hour after your last message.

Thanks for the reply. I deleted the old one, but I actually resolved the issue using the Windows app. If the certificate looks fine on your end, I should be good to go.
@BigWheel Please would you be able to reset my server certificate too. I have a brand new Shield TV Pro and keep getting the “unable to connect securely” message.
what URL are you using to try to access? cert looks fine afaict.
