Server continuously crashes

  • LG 65” smart tv.
  • Plex client ver 5.31.1
  • Platform ver 5.3.2
  • tv has most current firmware
    PC:
  • dedicated custom built server
  • 2 x 8tb WD Drives
  • i5-2400 3.1Ghz
  • 16GB ram
  • Windows 10 pro Ver 21H2 build 19044.1526
    Plex Server Software
  • 1.25.5.5492-12f6b8c83

Since installing this latest server update, the server constantly locks up, drops, or hangs. The only fix is either a full reboot or closing the application in windows task manager.

My advice, ditch Plex and install a software that isn’t so convuluted and buggy.
I had the same issues with Plex on my desktop computer running windows 10 and 11 to no avail.
I switched to Emby as my media server and not a single problem running video or music files.
Thanks plex for ruining something that started out great but has now morphed into a monster…
