I’ve been experiencing server crashes intermittently for the past few months. They began in late March and happen without warning at random times of the day. I’ve searched to try and find what I can regarding upload of these file to no avail. I’ve been able to retrieve the Crash Logs as well as the system logs after I restarted Plex after the most recent down time. I need some help diagnosing the issue but am unsure how to read these logs, mainly the .dmp crash logs. Can someone guide me in the right direction on this? The problem is sporadic but I can’t find a common denominator.
The normal way to look into crashes is to have crash reporting enabled (which you have), run the server with debug logging enabled (see https://support.plex.tv/articles/201643703-reporting-issues-with-plex-media-server/) and download the server logs zip a few minutes after the restart following a crash (see https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/) and to upload the logs here with time of crash
I have noticed two recent crashes on your Anonymous Movie Guy server which appear to be the same crashes as reported here The Roku app causes the Plex Server to crash
A fix is being produced and will get released in a future version. The crashes appear to be when encountering a video media file that has no audio stream
Logs and specific interrogation of Plex Media Server through specific requests may help identify the media items that are triggering the crashes. See the linked forum topic
Thank you for the information, I’m uploading the logs now.
Logs look different from the one that i thought it might be. We need to wait until the crash report gets successfully reported and analyzed. An attempt would be made every launch of Plex Media Server. We currently an issue that stopped accepting crash reports

There is evidence of the server hitting the bug that has just been fixed in Plex Media Server beta release 1.15.8.1163
Suggest you update to this version and if other crashes arise, please let me have new server logs captured after the restart following the crash
