Yeah, well - it clearly states in the crash dump that it’s the Plex Media Scanner that’s running when the crash occurs - I don’t think Apple Diagnostics of the HW will catch that…
It would seem, from timestamps of the log files, that it’s happening during the Plex Media Scanner Deep Analysis
Ok, I understand that conclusion. What I’m suggesting is the Mac Mini is under load during Deep Analysis. So to illuminate a possible the test will provide. My Mac does not exhibit this issue.
Would you be willing to downgrade to 4014 and test since you also only say this issue on later versions? At least then would know if it’s something that’s changed in PMS version for Mac Mini’s or if our issues are unrelated.
Yes, I’ll try that - but not right now, now I’ve disabled the deep analysis part of the Media Scanner to see if that will make any difference
Stable so far (3 days now)
8 days uptime now, so I’d say that the deep analysis was most likely the problem I had.
Might be related to the fact that my Media Library is nfs-mounted from my Synology onto this Mac Mini.
