I have a hardwire network at home and I use apple TV to watch plex. I have had a constant problem with my computer (running a plex server) disconnecting from a network every time I stream on my Apple TV box. It has been an issue for years now. It happens randomly and only way to fix it is to restart computer. Pc will not pull an ip address otherwise. It happens randomly and it happens a lot. Any help would be appreciated, thanks
same for me since last update.
the only time i have had issues it was due to failing hard drives or network cards
What’s the details of your setup, static ip and port forwarding configurations?
It’s a dynamic ip., I stream locally so no port forwarding. I use a router and everything is hardwired. I know it was a big problem for a lot of users few years ago but I still keep having it. I use apple TV and roku, problem on both. Everything is up to date
I only know how to setup with port forwarding even when streaming at home and works great. Maybe someone else will provide some input with your type of setup without port forwarding.
could be a DLNA issue check your server settings and be sure to add your local 19X.xxx.xxx.xxx /24 octive as a local wan network other than that not sure

After a day or so my Plex no longer works, the tray icon is only resident in memory and when I hover over it it goes away, then I have to reconnect. This was never an issue before but for the last few months I have been trying to resolve this to get a good solid connection without luck. What should I be looking for in the logs, the log folder is nearly 500MB in size so I cannot send it unless I delete all the logs and start fresh.
