Server fails after all updates since 1.16.6.1592

any update i install since this fails either media will not play, server shuts down or I get There was an unexpected error during playback. Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problemsPlex Media Server Logs_2019-11-23_13-10-16.zip (4.0 MB) is the latest keep having to downgrade to 1.16.6.1592 please help

Two quick notes:

  • If you’re using an Nvidia GPU in your system, you may want to update your drivers:
Nov 23, 2019 13:05:59.193 [12648] ERROR - [FFMPEG] - The minimum required Nvidia driver for nvenc is 418.81 or newer
  • There are some other threads discussing issues with recent PMS versions on Windows. In some cases it seems that disabling hardware transcoding helps:
