I’m at my wits end. I had ESPN 30 for 30 as a series. The series had all it’s associated names/titles and episodes correctly named. I added an episode and Plex did it’s normal scan after new content. After the scan all names/titles/posters were gone.
I checked the naming to make sure it was correct and noticed that a few were not labeled correctly so I put the entire folder (4 seasons) through Filebot using the {Plex} preset.
It corrected a handful of names but the rest are correct.
So I tried to rescan and it finds the series in the search window under both TVDB and TMDB. It found it with 100% and 95% respectively.
So I tried using the TVDB ID. 128051. Still no change. It spins for a second then nothing changes. I moved the folder out of the TV folder. Rescanned, emptied trash, cleaned bundles and re-added it. It added all 96 episodes but still no metadata.

All are in that format. I even changed the names to match TV Maze and tried again. No change. Re-named back to the correct format again with Filebot. Re-scanned. Re-searched with all 3 search types. Still no change.
How can I fix this??
Is there a specific log file I should be looking at?

edit the 2nd. I added a different series “Six Feet Under” all metadata, episode names and posters added correctly.
