Plex in the task manager is the desktop app – not your Plex Media Server.
What happens if you manually start the Plex Media Server app on the server machine?
Dude problem solved! Thank you so much. I didn’t realize that “Plex” and “Plex Media Server” were 2 different things.
Any ideas on what happened to make Plex Media Server stop running/working so I can avoid this next time?
Windows can sometimes mess with the autostarts on your PC to make it turn on faster, or reset the autolaunch for a couple of other rare random triggers. Best thing is if that ever happens just relaunch plex and make sure you right click the launch at startup option to re-enable it.
