My Plex Server updated yesterday on my PC. Now Plex states that it cant see my Plex Server, even though its on the same PC.
I’ve checked the obvious:
Restarted the PC
Checked Plex is running
Checked that I’m signed in
Checked all my drives are connected
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance

Can you post a copy of your server logs?

Hi! Thanks for replying.
I have no idea of how to do that, also as far as I can tell, my Plex Server App doesn’t even start up.

Hi dbirch!
I’ve just followed the link in your reply. I’ve looked for:
- Go to Settings > Manage > Troubleshooting in Plex Web App
- Click the Download Logs button
- Save the resulting zip file
Unfortunately I can’t find the Manage> Troubleshooting on the Plex Web App

On the windows PC go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Logs and zip that folder up

That is a bit concerning as that is where the logs for plex should be. Does C:\Users\hughw\Appdata\Local\Plex Media Server exist?
The Logs folder is not inside of the Plug-in Support folder.
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server\Logs should be the right one.
Hi dbirch!
I found these with the path you sent me. What do i do next?
