I have the message “XXXXX.home” is unreachable. Make sire it’s running, double check your network and try again. The message when I click on the movie server (my server here) I get the follow error:
“XXXXXX.home” is currently unavailable - Verify you have a network connection and that the server is online, or see our troubleshooting tips for further assistance.
The server is up and networking with my local LAN perfectly. I can login into PLEX find. We had a power outage yesterday and since then I get these messages. I reapplied the latest update (1.26.1.5798X…x86.64) to no avail. Is there something I should be checking outside the local server and the network? I have two firewalls (Xfinity router and my Meraki MX64). Not was changed on either from what I can tell but something obviously changed.
I did a lookup on your server, and nope, not avail from the outside!
It was last seen 3 day’s ago
So on the server itself, check if it can access the internet, and reach plex.tv
Also verify, that the local IP of your server, and we see two!!! (Hope you have a managed switch that supports that, and if not, kill one of the addresses) hasn’t changed, so new forwarding rules are needed on your firewall
The server is up and running with the Plex services as Active. As for the IP’s the local IPs are 10.0.0.200 & 10.0.0.201. The XFINITY Firewall shows the Global gateway IP (IPV6) as 2601:2c7:782:4160:aa70:5dff:fee3:aea3. Everything is up over here. I can access the server from any device BUT Since the power outage there has been no link to Plex outside of my house. Would removing the server and reapplying it help solve this? Could there be some special firewall settings I have to setup?
The plex screen you sent with the Remote Access option - USED to be on my plex but since this power outage that option is no longer there… would it help to remove my server and re-add it?
### Xfinity xFi
#### Advanced Security
Users who have installed and enabled the xFi Advanced Security feature for their Xfinity internet service will often find that it is blocking the connections for their Remote Access. Unfortunately, the way that security service has been implemented means that it is not currently possible to specify any kind of lasting exception or exclusion to allow Plex Media Server to offer Remote Access.
Users who have the xFi Advanced Security installed and who wish to set up Remote Access with Plex Media Server have no option but to **disable** the Advanced Security feature, unfortunately. (At least until such a time as a change is made to the feature, such that a lasting exception/exclusion can be set for Plex Media Server.)
Information on how to disable the Advanced Security feature can be found in Xfinity’s “[Using Xfinity xFi Advanced Security](https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/using-xfinity-xfi-advanced-security)” article.

#### Xfinity xFi Port Forwarding
Port forwarding for Xfinity service is done through the xFi website, rather than directly on the router.
In cases where you are unable to manually add a port forward for Plex, you may need to reset the DHCP reservation and avoid using IPv6,
then try to set up the port forward when the device/computer appears in the port forward list.
DHCP reservation / static IP can be reinstated once the port forward is in place, if desired.
I am just amazed that this is what I get from Plex when NOTHING changed on the Xfinity gateway/router/firewall and even my personal Meraki FW… yet it has to be on my side where nothing changed strange how that works. Now for the second time these ports are FORWARDED… and there is no way to turn off Advanced security that matches your instructions. So I am not sure what I can do there… especially seeing how this setup has worked for over 2 years without a single issue. I have a power outage and now all my side if apparently FUBAR.
