I have Xfinity and had recently had my XFI modem replaced . after it was set up and running my Internet connection was not working on my computer. Had to remove my internal network card and switch back to my On board network port on motherboard.

And now my Remote access will not work. it will connect and go Green show that its Fully accessible outside your network. After 15 min it will drop and go red
Not available outside your network

Have you actually verified that remote access doesn’t work, or just going by what the server is showing you? My Windows 2016 Server running Plex Server 1.16.6.1592 will randomly change between Not Reachable to Fully Accessible and back. Meanwhile my clients are not having any issues connecting.

If you have your IP/Ports properly assigned in the Server, the IP/Ports properly forwarded in your firewall and still don’t have a verifiable remote connection you may need to enable UPnP in your firewall as well.

Hi

I have set up PORT Forwarding within the firewall for TCP & UDP

I have also set up port forwarding in my Xfinity Modem/Router.

It will go from Green Available Outside within your Network and within 15 min go to Red

Yes, I get that. But did you VERIFY that your server was unreachable by using a device outside your local network? The indicator on my server also changes from green to red and there is no effect on remote clients. So have you VERIFIED that you have an actual problem?

I’m able to connect to my PLEX on my TV but others added to my server are unable to connect

I had to replace my network card. And I set up Port Forward in my firewall and my Xfinity Xfi router. And things seem to be working at this time.

I appreciate your assistance and wanted to say thank you for the helpful tips on getting it back to normal. And my friends say thank you too because they are now able to get access to my PLEX

I have set up the Port forward through the firewall. And Port forwarding through my Xfi Xfinity Router. And My Remote access keeps dropping.

I have tested it several times and I’m able to get a connection. But others who I have given access to my server will be able to get in and then they get booted off.

I have exausted all efforts trying to get this to work.

Before my Xfi cable modem / router was replaced I had no problem getting Remote connection working.

Now with the new one everything happened.
