Server keeps disconnecting

I use my seedbox as a server and recently upgraded it for more space. Ever since I had done so, I keep losing remote access to it if no one uses it, maybe 15 minutes later but I’m not sure on that timeframe.

According to my seedbox Plex is installed without issues. I’m going to talk to support for the seedbox but I’m not sure what they can do to help if anything. I’m trying to cover all of my bases here.

To get it to reconnect, I have to go to the remote access field in the settings, click “apply” after “manually select port” (I leave the field blank). Then it finally says above it that the server isn’t connected and I have to enable the connection. A few minutes later I have to keep doing this. Can anyone please help?

How are you doing the port mapping on the seedbox?

It turns out I needed to do port forwarding to get it to work. My seedbox had a specific port it recommended to use and once I did that it worked flawlessly. I hope if anyone else has a similar issue that they find this helpful.
