Plex remote access works for awhile then drops - #9 by BigWheel Hi, Remote Server has dropped out. I’ve tried restarting PLEX, adding manual port but it just keeps dropping. I’ve been using PLEX for years quite successfully, haven’t changed any settings but the Remote Server is the one area that keeps letting me down. I’m going on holiday in 24 hours and would love to be able to access my PLEX from Portugal, please assist
Is the port you’re using for Plex open on https://canyouseeme.org/ ?

You had something going on with your cert. I reset it but if continues to happen may need to see server logs

would need the plex media server.log after a restart if you aren’t going to provide the whole zip file.
Did you port forward in your router?
Resolved, thanks - I think SKY router had somehow re-set. Reconnected upnp and PLEX now available outside my network, for the last half-hour at least! Thanks for assistance…
