Just having trouble getting the server to recognize and link to my account I have log into plex web at plex.tv downloaded the server I can’t tell you how many time and logged in and every time I go to add my media it keeps telling me to down load the server is something wrong or is plex just got to complicated to even use now, I started using plex back when it first started but if I cannot get this figured out I will not bother with it anymore.
On the same pc the server is on
Type http://127.0.0.1:32400/web into the address bar in a browser
I have and still don’t show up, but shows it’s running on the task bar, but stills says download a server I have downloaded that server 25 times now with the same issues that it’s not connecting to my account and allowing access to server settings,. The pop bar that generally appears at the top of the browser telling me that there is an unclaimed server claim now is not there but I can clearly see on the taskbar it’s running and ctrl-alt delete in task mgr shows it running in the background as a server but I can’t access it and there’s no toggle or enable switch for in settings when I pull it up or open plex.tv or with the numeric address. I’m about to give up on it I have been using this thing since 2009 but it’s getting to be more trouble and frustrating than it’s Worth. Everytime they makes changes and updates just become more un-user friendly
if you go to http://127.0.0.1:32400/web you should be prompted to login and claim the server (if you do that from the same computer that is running plex)
Plex on windows is normally fairly straight forward.

Got the same problem…what a pain
Try a different browser
Also double check that your OS clock is set to the correct time
Can you post your server logs? and have you tried restarting the program?
Used Chrome and Firefox neither worked…clock ok…?
