Server not recognizing media, server mislabeling recognized media.

For each TV show series I create separate folders, also separate folders for each genre of movies. Plex seems to pick up the movies but it scatters TV shows and mixes them up and my latest that I’ve added it does not even recognize them. I can use a file Explorer to find the movies and play them so I know they’re all working but Plex has TV shows scattered everywhere many times not even recognizing the titles that are clearly in the file name.

You need to re-name and re-organize your media. Read the documents @JaysPlex linked.

/share/Media/TV Series/HEARTLAND/Plex Versions/Original Quality/HEARTLAND/S01E10.mp4

There are three different TV series named Heartland: 1989, 1994, & 2007. Without the year, Plex has no idea which one to match.

Also, the organization is incorrect. Re-organize per Plex requirements.

After renaming/reorganizing, Plex Dance the entire show.

.../Heartland (2007) <-- ShowName (IntroYear)
....../Season 01 <-- "Season" in English
........./Heartland (2007) s01e01.mp4 <-- ShowName (IntroYear); sXXeYY format important.

If you want to save yourself a lot of time I would recommend using Download - tinyMediaManager and use:

Episode format:
${showTitle} - S${seasonNr2}E${episodeNr2} - ${title}

Folder format:
${showTitle} (${showYear}) {tvdb-${tvShow.ids.tvdb}}/Season ${seasonNr2}

as the new name format.
