Feature Request for Server:
Server-Rules to sort Records automatically in Collections.

I think its a great Feature if it is possible to sort Records from a Path automatcally in Collections.
For Example:
I use a directory which will observed from plex server for record my tv-shows. At the Moment Plex will all medias insert in the same bibliothek without any collections or directorys. It will be good when i by first time record can say this media is a daily soap for my wife and must sort in directory/collection xy and all next recorded media by the same name will sort automatically in these directory/collection.

If you use the DVR feature of Plex, you can define for each single recording job

  • into which library the recording is to be stored
  • if the library has more than one folders assigned to it, you can also define which folder to use
