Server/Server Media Unavailable for Home Users

Server Version#: Linuxserver Docker Version 1.29.2.6364
Player Version#: Roku OS 11.0
Issue: Home users are unable to access media available (movies/tv shows). It shows the orange triangle and when attempting to add the media from the users account on the app, it says server unavailable.

I have verified they are given access to all media folders from the server. Admin user can access media just fine from the Roku apps. Behavior is only on Roku TV’s. It works fine on Firesticks on the same network.

Is it possible to get a copy of your Roku logs after being switching to one of your managed accounts

I just enable Remote Logging on User:Addie

I just noticed Enable Relay was checked in my server settings as well…wonder if that has something to do with it.

I won’t be able to access the network logs in time to day unfortunately. Is it possible for you to get the the manual method in the top part of that article. You can message them to me by clicking on my username

Relay is used for remote connections when Remote access is not working properly for some reason.( though if serious issue then Relay might not even work) It’s odd that the roku may be trying to connect remotely when signed in with a managed account.

Was able to find someone who can access logs. it does appear the managed account is trying to access remotely. It also looks like your server is a docker, do you have that set to use the Host networking so it is part of the main local network

Your real account is likely accessing the server just by finding it on the network with GDM but managed account are not allowed use GDM to prevent them from accessing unclaimed servers on the network

yes it is on docker and it is set to be part of the main local network.
