This gets brought up again and again so I thought I’d bring it up AGAIN. It’s been an ongoing issue for me through multiple versions and there never seems to be a resolution. I havent really cared except now I’m unable to play music ‘radios’. I’ve done everything but rebuild the OS at this point (which isn’t something I can do at this time or the foreseeable future). My question is - Is there something that can be done via DB commands to give me access to the settings? I’m unable to generate logs as I can’t get to the settings. Would love to see some workarounds outside of the norm. It’s not a permissions issue, it’s not a VPN issue, it’s not a claimed server issue… I’d love a resolution to this. I can get to the server logs via plexdash.
ahh ya thats what I forgot to mention - there are no updated logs. The last Plex Media Server log is dated 6/18. The only logs that are current are a plethora of transcoder stat tmp logs
Have you manually moved the server data directory?
You should see the actual data directory used by your server in the registry (Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Plex, Inc.\Plex Media Server\LocalAppDataPath)
Can you check that folder for the latest logs… if your actual server has been running, there should be current logs. If you can still find older logs in some other place that could mean you used to run a 2nd server or try accessing a server that isn’t actually running?!
Thats the only place plex exists and this is the only server I have. The stats logs go there but otherwise the other logs havent been updating. The logs only exist there as far as I know, I havent found them anywhere else via search.
