Migrating from Windows to Unraid.
migrated my Plex Media Server to new hardware using the same data directory.
The original server (Dean-Net Plexy) now shows as “unavailable” in Plex Cloud,
while a new empty server instance shows as available.
This is a duplicate server identity / orphaned UUID issue.
I need the orphaned server UUID detached so the original server can re-register.
Original server name: Dean-Net Plexy
Original MachineIdentifier: “a370a586-f375-4357-928a-6da01241aa47”
The server data directory is intact and unchanged.
I think the problem was created when I started the new unraid docker and it went through a setup wizard instead of claiming my original server. All my AppData/local/Plex Media Server folders and files are migrated into the correct place on unraid for the Plex Media Server to find.
