Server Tools - Plex Client Authentication

I was under the impression that, since what I was asking for were more tools for administrators to use to admin the server I was making a single request with examples of the tools needed by the administrator to do a comprehensive job.  That request was locked, and I was told to post each example as a separate request.

Less reliance on Plex.tv for client authentication.  Again, last night I had issues getting to the site.  So while trying to get things settled into folders, naming, etc. I kept getting unauthorized errors getting into my server from the web interface.  The token has been issued once, so why does it need to be redone every time I log in?  Once a day/2 days/week should be enough, if I am providing log on information that is consistent and recognized at least one time during the admin's preconfigured time frame.

Plex.tv is the authority we have made our accounts on.  It is where we have our users get their accounts made. When this service is down, for whatever reason, us as admins and our users are unable to reach the Media Server.  Unacceptable!

Tokens that expire session to session are only going to get more problematic as traffic to/from Plex.tv increases.  If our Plex Server has accepted access from a given client within a reasonable (ADMIN selectable) time frame, then the server should just be there.  I already have a DDNS going and can get to my server through this method.  I have a lifetime Plex Pass.  At this point the client base should be MINE to disseminate, not Plex.TV's.  I shouldn't be restricted from accessing my own content because Plex.tv is off-line or timed out.

Validate the client as needed, within a reasonable time frame, but session to session is unreasonable.  Keep those tokens for a 24 hour period or 48 hour or something more realistic.

I had the same issue last week where Plex.TV was unavailable for a few hours and I was unable whilst sitting at the server to access MY media!
