Server Unavailable Outside of Network Except on Mobile Device

My plex server is running a Western Digital device. My users are not able to access my server outside of network yet in my Remote Access settings it shows “Fully accessible outside your network”. What is strange is their PC or Roku device cannot connect yet they can over their mobile device. I also followed the article on troubleshooting Remote Access and even tested successfully on canyouseeme.org. It shows that 32400 is good and that my ISP is not blocking that port. I am not sure what else to check. I also restarted my routers, modem and the western digital device.

On the apps that are not working, have the users change the setting “Allow Fallback to Insecure Connections” to “Always”image

Then on your server in the Network settings change the “Secure Connections” to “Preferred”

Hmm…my server already has that setting but will have users check setting on their side.

it’s likely the client apps won’t have the “Always” selected by default in fact the last update changed this setting for my users back to “Never” so i had to have them switch it back. Fingers crossed that it will rectify the issue for you g’luck

Some did not have that option for one it still had the same message for server being unavailable. I just dont know how to fix. It is odd that it works on the mobile app though but not others.
