This happens when I use “early access”
Please help outside of early access it works just fine
Well apparently they decided that if your TV is 2, 3, or 4 years old. God forbit older. You no longer qualify to use their servers. Being apparently its “Unsafe” for them. Whatever that means. Among other miscellanious rumors. Honestly it feels like a ploy for ppl to invest in devices like Google Chrome. Being they marketed it hard on ther Youtube platforms. I had to purchase one today. Now guess Google can enjoy playing with my metadata.
Eve though they knew everyone’s situation. They forced ppl into this financial situation where now all their older devices need some form of chromecast to function & stream vids on all your sets at home. Bravo Plex. They sent the email only 27 days ago it seems.
Well here is the announcement I found:
Try changing the network settings under settings -> advanced and set allow insecure network. and prefer insecure network to on same network and see if that helps.

It did! But is it safe to do so? I prefer my connection to be secure actually…
I had the same issue on my 2-3 y/o Samsung. Never even knew early access was a thing (I don’t have Plex Pass). Turned early access off. Boom, problem solved.
