After having updated to Version 1.18.7.2438, server is unreachable.
Worse: I can’t even quit PMS anymore. The icon in the menu bar remains fixed and there is no way to make it disappear except by turning the Macbook off and on again.
I’ve never had a problem to date and now… nothing works anymore.
I’m having the same problem…struggling with it since 3hrs…No server found, unistalled and re-installed several times PMS but nothing…I also wrote to the “billing department”…considering that there’s NO ONE in the support department willing to give a solution …
1.18.7.2438-f342a5a43 is exactly the same version I updated/mounted: as I said, it’s incompatible with my system. That solution, for me, worked only for a few minutes.
Just to be precise, I work on:
MacBook Pro Mid 2015
MacOS Mojave 10.14.6
Safari 10.0.3
@fix 1.18.7.2438-f342a5a43 is still working for me.
Before trashing and replacing with then new one try closing the application and make sure no processes are left running in the background. I restarted in between just to be safe.
The dates on both 1.18.7.2438 are different, you can checksum both files and compare them.
I really dont understand why plex has so many updates. I litterally did an update last week, and now another one? Alot of the times these updates just mess things up when things were already fine. Am i alone on this ?
