After having updated to Version 1.18.7.2438, server is unreachable. Worse: I can’t even quit PMS anymore. The icon in the menu bar remains fixed and there is no way to make it disappear except by turning the Macbook off and on again. I’ve never had a problem to date and now… nothing works anymore. …

OK. Clearly, Version 1.18.7.2438 for Mac has a big BUG. I simply don’t want to spend more time on it so I’ve reverted to Version 1.18.6.2368 and now everything works. Period. Hoping that some developer will read this and solve the problem before releasing the next version. :love_you_gesture:

Having the same problem on my Macbook pro. My problems started after installing the last beta update.

I’m having the same problem…struggling with it since 3hrs…No server found, unistalled and re-installed several times PMS but nothing…I also wrote to the “billing department”…considering that there’s NO ONE in the support department willing to give a solution …

It worked for me doing the following: Deleted the existing 1.18.7.2438 Downloaded the current one from https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/ Restarted the Mac (just to be safe new processes were loaded but wasn’t really needed) Note: Current app is also version 1.18.7.2438 but has a newer…

1.18.7.2438-f342a5a43 is exactly the same version I updated/mounted: as I said, it’s incompatible with my system. That solution, for me, worked only for a few minutes. Just to be precise, I work on: MacBook Pro Mid 2015 MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 Safari 10.0.3
