Up until I experienced the following challenges, I would upgrade the version of Plex on the server whenever I was notified of said new version. After upgrading past 1.22.3.4523, whenever I would attempt playback from one of my Fire TV Sticks on my local network, or whenever one of my users sharing my library would attempt playback from their Fire TV Stick from their house, the server’s Plex process would crash and restart. This would happen every time the playback was attempted on the Fire TV Stick devices.
Did not have this problem using the web player.
So I have not upgraded regularly since. Every few months I will try an upgrade, test on the Fire TV Stick and on the web player, and when the outcome persists on the Fire TV Stick, I downgrade back to 1.22.3.4523.
Please let me know what logs or other diagnostic details I can provide (and if you would be willing, some rudimentary instructions on how to extract them).
