After some time (usually ~5 mins) my video crashed with the error “an error occurred while trying to play this video. please check your connection and try again plex”. This just started happening today, I’ve made no changes at all.
That looks like an Android player version number, not Plex Media Player. What sort of device is it running on?
For Android there was also an update 2 days ago to 8.29.0 can you check for update and see if that works for you.
Ah sorry, running on a Fire TV Stick. I just reinstalled the app and it shows the same version.
Hello, I have fire stick 4K, do you try with different video resolutions?. I have the same problem but only with 720p videos.
