Another question though, but about the way plex manages music. As I’m an Apple user, I use iTunes for my music, I synchronise my library from my Macbook on a specific folder on my NAS, then on the iMac of my wife. Don’t ask, I know it seems awful, but it worked. I don’t have better solution to share the same iTunes library (with loads of playlists) easily and efficiently.
Whatever, now iTunes is called Music and the library.xml no longer exists in the iTunes media folder, xml that plex is pointed at in settings, to find the library (now it is in Music Library file in a Music folder separated). Does Plex plan to integer this major change or does it intend to focus on the integrated music scanner, which I find awful ? I cannot use the Plex music scanner for the other reason that it can’t find my playlists… tried plug-ins, but no longer work.
Is there a solution ?
And a major upgrade would be on iOS app if it would allow sync on the device without having the app running… each time the screen shuts down, the sync stops. You have to watch a movie repeatedly to have the content synced. But I guess this is an Apple limitation, no ?
