I wished there was an option to set on the server like “use original quality per default”
Having to tell every user “please go into your settings on every device you use and set it to default” is really not fun. Especially if you have non tech users who don’t really understand what all that means and forget when they use another device.
I can understand the default setting on mobile apps, but on stationary streaming devices or the web browser it makes no sense.
Having worse quality and high cpu load by default is not great, for my use case at least.
