Set Scheduled Tasks to run 24/7?

Server Version#: 1.29.1.6260
Player Version#: 4.92.0

Since my server is set up on a relatively low-powered/slow system and there’s a lot of work to do with my library (484 movies, 10,274 TV episodes, 69595 songs), I want to set the Plex Server software to run Scheduled Tasks 24/7 so all of the work can be done as quickly as possible. Is setting the windows from 0:00 - 23:00 the limit, or is there a way to make it 24 hours instead of 23 hours?

I haven’t actually tested this – but have you tried setting it to 0:00 to 0:00 (or 3:00 to 3:00)?
That being said… do you actually experience a lot of overrun tasks keeping your server busy? Unless you’re in the middle of sonically analyzing your 70k songs or scanning 10k TV episodes for intros the other tasks should be manageable.

I am doing Sonic Analysis for the music and Deep Analysis for all the video files. Intros are all detected. The “Butler” seems to be doing a lot of “Lyric Promises,” though. I also checked and you can’t set 0:00 through 0:00, it just immediately stops all of the scheduled tasks and forces it into a one-hour window (0:00 to 1:00).

Why don’t you try 0:00 to 23:00, which should give it a 1 hour break but looks like it should get you a 23 hour window?

I’ve been using the 23 hour window for about a week. Was just curious if it was possible to do 24 hours somehow, or if 23 hours is a hard limit.

Yup, just looked back at your OP and see you did mention that. Sorry about that.
