I apologize as this has been posted before but I wanted to express my concerns. Not having the ability to control a clients stream quality is frustrating. My connection is more than capable to stream to several clients at 1080p. My end users don’t bother to or are not aware that they can adjust the quality themselves. Not having to inform my clients of this it would be much easier if we, the server owners could control this.
If this is not possible than a workaround could be that users are better informed that they can make this change. For instance if a client is not getting the optimal quality that the server can provide they receive a popup or something that notifies them. You could have the popup in the player itself directing clients on how they can adjust the quality.
Aside from this I love Plex, You guys rock!
