Just updated to Plex-Media-Server-1.8.2.4209-b1d4aa012 . It seems to be working but when I click on settings I get this:
“Server settings are unavailable.”
Anyone else seeing this?
Just noticed in the Settings on the web you can click on Web, Users, and Devices those links all work. Server is the only one that fails.
I take it you are not at home in front of your server?
this happens when remote access breaks so you need to check remote access on your server settings.
had this same problem.
1 updated to 1.8.2
2 then my local server in Plex (XXXDesktop) was not available
3 rebooted windows 10 computer
4 plex came up but VERY SLOWLY
5 then could not get into SERVER Settings
about 15 minutes later …
i could get in.
Ok. I uninstalled and re-installed. My server settings have not come back yet. I will keep waiting.
Does your server show it is green and accessible from outside?
Until that is green you can only login locally and see server settings once green you can login to plex.tv/web and see these settings.

Also, I can’t see that screen because it says Server Settings unavailable. I can access it remotely though. Everything seems to be working. Uninstall and reinstall didn’t help.
I killed some other services. Maybe one of them was needed.
It still doesn’t work. Also noticed my EPG data for the DVR is at 0% and constantly refreshing.
Ok. Finally a second reboot solved it. Thanks for your help.
Update 1.9.4.4325 and I still have to reboot my machine to get server settings back.
