Wanted to check first as I don’t know the difference between direct play and transcoding. I have just restored the network to how it was and it seems fine. Like that I’d probably have never know if there was a problem. Maybe it never transcoded?

Was the NAS “transcoding” fine and do everything it should then stopped?
If restoring my WiFi now allows direct play how would I have known if it was transcoding or not? The logs mean nothing to me I’m afraid.
Should I still reinstall DSM? If I do, how will I know if it’s active? Thanks.
