This is a request to make the “other video” style library have a setting to control the default view. The goal is to make it so you can default to folder view for all users, which will helps with organizing the videos folder. Also if possible, it would be great if we could assign a picture to the folder sort of like how you do with Series.
The concept is, if we can set folder view as the default, user click the library and see the folders listed sort of like Series. Then in the folders are the “episodes” or just whatever videos it finds. Slapping a poster on the folder would be nice as well just for visual purposes.
I’ve created a rough draft version of what this would look like, but I’ve used the “series” library to make it show like this.
