Setup Plex Server in the Cloud

I am not very computer savvy and I wanted to know if this scenario is possible and how do I make it happen. My friend and I both have our own Plex Passes. We were thinking about purchasing online storage 20tb (iDrive) to store our files rather than us both downloading the same files from our houses. We wanted to have online storage where we both can access the files and stream them.

Is this possible and how do you set it up? Do we use our local server and point the movies file location to a cloud address?

Is it possible to setup a plex media server in online cloud storage?

How would we setup 1 media server that points to files only in the cloud?

You’ll want a host that has file storage and plex integration. You can look at seedhost.eu for this. You’ll get dedicated space with various apps including a Plex install. Very simple to setup and use. If you’re not storing a TON of media files (100’s of TB’s) you can do this rather cheap.
