A silly basic question but how do I break out of Rasplex to get back to the setup screen? My Rasplex works fine, but I need to make 2 changes:

  1. I want to change the name of “Rasplex” as I do have 2 of these
  2. I would like to send sound output to the 3.5 mm jack, not HDMI

Press ‘left’ on the Home screen and select ‘System Settings’ to change the name.

Press ‘left’ on the Home screen and select ‘Preferences’ to change Audio Output to Analogue.

I changed the names on both Rasplexes, but Plex is still referring to both original names “Rasplex”. Do I need to unregister and re-register with Plex in order to have Plex use the new names? Having two PHT’s with identical names is a bit confusing.

The setting in System settings is the device hostname, i.e. what you see as a network device if you have Samba enabled.

There is also a setting in Preferences, System, Services, Device name, this is the name used by Plex.
