Has anyone been able to setup an USB tuner with Plex (Windows). Every time I run the setup, it is only looking over the network for tuners, never finds the one connected to the computer with USB.
I have never setup one but do you have the drivers for the USB tuner installed? Other posts I have seen this was the issue. Probably need to go to tuner manufacturer website and download driver software.
Yes, it is properly installed as I am able to user it with another application (NextPVR). I will try to see if I can find a newer version.
Even with the new driver installed, Plex doesn’t find anything. It looks like it is only scanning the network…
Are you sure it is a supported tuner? Don’t see where you said what tuner sevixe it is, also what version of Windows?

It is an Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 850 on Windows 10. I thought I tried since a lot of Hauppauge are supported, drivers are probably not as different between models. Anyway, I applied to the Community testing and will see If I can participate.
