Several nVidia Shield issues. Do not know where to start

Hello, I have several issues with my nVidia Shield (on my home network) that started a few days back. I do not know if they are related or just a coincidence. My Plex server is hosted on a Synology DS920+

First I have problems logging into Plex in the first place. When starting up I get this message saying “Communicating with server. Working”

After a relatively long time the screen where I can select the user appears, but only my own administrator account show up. At the bottom the message “User switching not available” appears. If I still log in my content may, or may not, be available. I can’t tell why it still appears sometimes, and why it sometimes does not appear.

If the content do appear I start to play a movie, but after about 5-10 or so minutes it starts to stutter and desync (audio/picture does not match). The movie is not being transcoded.

I’m not sure if these two issues are related. Running a few test it may appear as if other movies play fine, but the mentioned movie play fine on other Plex clients. I also tried to delete the cache within the nVidia Shield before trying with other movies, so that might cover over some of the issues..?

I’m a bit lost and was hoping you could advice me on any possible solutions I could try?

Sometimes I have to kill the app to solve the “user switching not available” thing. Leaving an app on the shield doesn’t close it you have to double tap back or something like that and then the fast app switching comes up. You then move the plex app down into the X to stop it completely. I don’t have to do this often but its quicker than rebooting the shield which is another way of fixing things sometimes.
