TV cast list in plex are a mess and you could be giving examples all day long of problems with it and no one from plex will even acknowledge there is a problem.
I created this post a while ago The Crown Regular Cast picking up un aired S05 & S06 data with no input from plex. It also explains why plex has the problem and where it builds it lists from.
