Shadow the size of Android navigation bar won't go away on mobile app

On the Android mobile app player I have a shaded bar on the right side of the player. It stays on the right side of the media no matter which way the screen is rotated. When the charge port is on the right side of the media, it is in the same spot as the navigation bar (back/home/recent) but it IS NOT THE NAVIGATION BAR, I know what the navigation bar is and it goes away with the notification bar. This is something else. Maybe related, but not the same. It appears on all media, not just certain titles. It also appears on the mini pop up player.

I’m experiencing the same issue on Android. When is this going to be fixed?

This has also been posted on Reddit with several other people noting this issue.

I am having the same issue. Temp solution would be to install previous version of Plex till they fix this issue.
