My friend recently bought a HDHomeRunner and can watch Live TV. He just shared his server with me and I can only see his recordings. What do we need to do to share LIve TV?

Use this plex channel for your home users/web viewer for live TV for the time being. This channel will run on the same plex server install as the new plex DVR:

Grant each home user/plex user access to the newly created channel section.

No DVR just Live TV though
I added that channel for that purpose and it works well. Just have to make sure you check Channels under restrictions for that user since default is not checked. Also will depend on their client. My user had first used Xbox one but apparently it won’t show channels. Had to switch to fire tv.

I have a Plex DVR setup and it works fine. I watch TV remotely.
My dad bought a Plex Pass and I added him as a user on my server but couldn’t figure out why he couldn’t watch TV remotely.
@Plex admins - is this feature on the roadmap??
