Shared Playlists in New Roku UI?

How do I get shared playlists to show again on a managed profile? A while back they were moved to “Media” for some reason but now they’re simply gone. I’ve scoured settings and posts trying to find an answer so I can try to make my child’s account usable again.

And I echo the statements in the other posts. This UI change is terrible, give us the option to switch back. You have to consider users who are young, elderly, or in some way enfeebled to a degree. I’m really regretting paying for a lifetime plex pass, which I only did because necessary controls for a child account aren’t available without it.

Same issue here: I have a Roku TV in our gazebo/pool area, and (used to) use Guest account to provide access to shared playlists that anyone could choose to play.

Now that’s gone, and that’s really annoying.

I suppose I will have to recreate those playlists via the browser, and maybe then they’ll appear?

What a cluster****

I’ve been trying to figure this out as well since the new Roku client update got pushed out a couple weeks ago. Playlists have been downgraded and messed up in a major way.

Playlists are much more time consuming to get to and browse through when you’re viewing content as the main admin user, and playlists have completely gone away from others users whom you’ve shared your playlists with. No matter where you look in within the new client application, other user do not have shared playlists showing up in the app. There’s also no longer a “Media” section where the shared playlists used to be found. This new UI rollout makes no sense what so ever when a major function has been altered for the worst, and completely done away with all together for other users.

Let us know if recreating the playlists, then sharing them again with other users actually solves the issue. Thanks

For non-Guest users, the sharing permissions were simply wiped. Reapplying them did the trick.

But for Guest, this is not an option, as that account doesn’t appear in the Share With dialogs. So recreating playlists as the Guest user seems the only option.

Given the size and number of my playlists, I’ve compromised by creating a new account with restricted privileges, and sharing the most commonly played playlists with it — while trying to be patient hoping a proper fix is provided by Plex.
