So a while back I moved all my users to the the friends/shared area so they would not be able to see each other. Helping out a shared user with an issue, I noticed they can see other shared users. The weird part is they cannot see all of them, and it’s like a snapshot from the past. some of the people they see have been removed.
I have moved my Plex Server from windows to Linux, to Docker in the past. trying to preserve the DB of watched/unwatched etc. I am wondering where something like this might be stored.
I have a few people in Config > Friends & Family > Shared that I share my library with.
If one of the people in that shared list go to Config > Friends & Family > Shared on their side they see some of my shared people. including some that have been deleted a while back.
These are the user’s friends, not yours. If they are still friends with people you removed from your server, it doesn’t concern you. It is their plex account, not yours.
Well that is not quite right. As they were all users I had, that some of these people don’t even know eachother. I have my test account which I have never added a user to, Just a plain old non-plex pass account, and it has the same thing.
After talking to some of the people I share with they all see the same accounts. But i did notice only the people I have shared with the longest see it. The newer people don’t.
