Actually I share my library with my parents. In my library I have 4k content mixed with 1080p. They can play both but as you know 4k is very bandwidth consuming and cpu intense if transcoding. So It will be very great if we can hide content for remote users based on video quality to limit bandwidth /cpu usage.
Segregate the 4K content from the 1080p on your storage, create a 4K library in PLEX pointed at this new location.Share all libraries except the 4K one. Moving files on your storage will probably require a PLEX dance session to update the metadata. The Plex Dance ™
