What I would like is to be able to add the sharing label to a library and have it apply that to everything within that library. I currently have a 9 year old in the house who i don’t want to have full access to the main library but I want her to have full access to her library. Currently i have to manually go and add the share label to anything new i add to her library.
Why not remove the sharing label restriction and just share that 1 library? Then your child can see everything in that library, but only that library.
The problem comes from there being movies in the main library I’d like to give her access to without having to put duplicate files in both directories to save space.
Why not put those movies in the library she can see?
Alternatively, you can create symlinks of the original movie in the library she has access to. This doesn’t use up any space.
