Trying to allow my daughter to sign in as a shared home user. I was able to add the wife and son, but daughter is getting authorization error when signing in with the gmail account i sent the invite to. I have tried this several times with no luck. She does not have Facebook so I cannot try with that.
I don’t see anything in the logs and don’t know where to go from here.
The account doesn’t exist yet for her. Tell her to go to plex.tv and “Sign Up”, using this same email address.
OK, but my wife and son I added the same way without having to sign up. Is there a reason why she is different?
They did sign up when then signed in to accept the share. Is she using the “continue with Google” link in browser?
Yes Continue with Google worked for both my son and wife, but not my daughter.
Looking at your account it appears the share finally worked.
it did, but not using continue with google. This is less than ideal.
She can link the google Login to her account in her account settings under Linked Accounts https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/account
