I tried inviting my son to enjoy my movies but he had never heard of Plex. He want’s to watch on his Windows laptop. What (if anything) does he need to install to be able to watch my movies?
He should have gotten an email with a link accept your share and create an account. Then just needs to sign into https://app.plex.tv in his web browser and watch. which can also be gotten to after signing into our main website https://www.plex.tv/ and clicking launch.
He keeps getting an invite error when he clicks on the link.
Then I would
- tell him to go to www.plex.tv click on sign up and make an account.
- you go to your share setting https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/users/friends and revoke/delete the pending invite you have there.
- you make a new share invite with whatever email or username he used to make account.
- he accepts that share on the same page https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/users/friends
