Is it possible to share DVR recording to other users (My girlfriend) or do they have to log in under my account or does this work like all the other librarys in plex ?
it should work just like any other library. Just share that with her.
Live TV cannot be shared.
Live TV cannot at this time be shared with other accounts. We highly discourage giving other people your login credentials, especially since you have a Plex Pass. TV is just not that important
Shes added as a home user so when she logs in under her account she can log into mine with my pin.
However, It would be nice to share the library with her as we sometimes watch stuff at different times and this would make things much harder as it wont keep track of what we have watched correctly.
Is this going to be changed in the future?
So I can share the DVR recording with her, just not live TV is that correct ?
Have her login to her account and use her user not yours. I have 3 different accounts in my home. Each has access to the same libraries but if I watch a show under my account my son still sees that shows as not watched. Under her account she would not have access to Live TV.
if she logs into her account in web app then switches to your account and enters your pin. she will have access to all of the admin functions of your server. she will also be able to get into your account profile and change whatever she wants. Again do not suggest giving out your credentials ( either password or PIN )
DVR recordings are stored in regular library so yes you can share that library.
