Shield Pro 2019 Plex Server Cannot Be Claimed

I decided to give the new Nvidia Shield Pro a go to run my Plex server. Everything seemed to be working until I actually wanted to set the libraries themselves.

If I connect directly to IP:32400/web then I am given a message like this: “No soup for you! The server you’re trying to access doesn’t want to let you in. Make sure you’re signed in as a user with access to this server.”

If I try the app.plex.tv, then I do not see the server so I cannot finish the setup and actually index my content.

Since I assumed it is something related to credentials, then I tried to change the password and sign out of all devices in the process as well. After doing this and linking the server again, the basically the server stops and cannot be restarted anymore. Only way to restart it is to reset the plex server (delete data and cache) and then I end up with the initial problem.

Any help is appreciated!

Unfortunately this isn’t any sort of solution to OP’s problem but a +1 to it. I set up a brand new Nvidia shield pro 2019 (which I specifically bought to run PMS on it) and when trying to set the PMS up I’m getting the exact same 2 issues - “No soup for you” when accessing the IP directly and the server not appearing in https://app.plex.tv/ at all. The version of PMS running is v1.18.5.2309. I’ve tried all sorts of re-installing including a full factory reset of the device itself to no avail.

@george.carstoiu Hey there, I fixed my problem. Check out what I wrote here: PMS refuses to connect on Nvidia Shield Pro 2019. I hope that helps you and others as well.
