I accidentally deleted the shield server from my account on the plex web interface. I have tried removing the shield from my devices and signed out plex on the shield then restarting but still doesn’t show up in my account after signing back in . Is there a way to re-run the initial pms setup on the shield without factory resetting? Or does anyone have any other suggestions that might work.
Point your browser at the PMS on the Shield: http://ip_of_shield:32400/
You should then be able to login, claim the server, etc.

If pointing a browser at the actual ip address doesn’t work, then PMS may not be running or the configuration could be corrupted somehow.
Try the following:

Go into Shield settings -> Apps. Find Plex Media Server.

Force Stop Plex Media Server.

Clear data for Plex Media Server.

Reboot Shield. After the Shield interface appears on tv screen, wait a couple more minutes for everything to start up & settle down.

Confirm IP address in Shield network settings. Probably, but not necessarily, 192.168.something.something.

Point browser at http://Shield’s ip address:32400/web (ex: http://192.168.1.20:32400/web). You should then be prompted to login to your Plex account.
I had made the same mistake of removing shield from server list and couldn’t get back in.
I initially tried this and it didn’t work…then tried on another computer and worked perfectly!
