Shield TV 4K HDR colour banding (Gradient)

Hi I get really bad colour banding(gradient) on all 4K 10 bit HDR files on the native Plex app. Mkv files all direct play and no buffering.
Shield is connected direct to LG B6 Oled TV, UHD colour is on. You can see the colour banding (halo effect) most prominently when theirs a blue sky in the movie.

On Kodi and SPMC using Plex for kodi-add on I get no issues of colour banding. Also don’t get any banding on Xplay app or DLNA.

1080p 8bit blu rays have no issue on the native Plex app.

I don’t understand why it’s only the native Plex app having this issue on 4K hdr files on the Shield.

Tried different colour space, hdmi ports, cables.

Its the same issue as described here and some other forums.
